The Future Badri of Sacred Tradition

About Bhavishya Badri

Bhavishya Badri is a Panch Badri shrine near Subhain where Lord Vishnu is worshipped in the form of Narasimha.

Its name means the Badri of the future. Local sacred tradition holds that worship may shift here if the present Badrinath route becomes inaccessible in a future age.

The common approach uses the Joshimath–Tapovan side to Saldhar, followed by a forest trek towards Subhain and the temple. Current roadhead and trail distance must be confirmed locally.

Important: This is a mountain trek, not a roadside stop. Confirm the current Saldhar roadhead, trail condition, local guide availability, temple opening status and return timing before starting.
